apt-get install enlightenment Then change your ~/.xsession file to use enlightenment instead of kde. What you don't have a ~/.xsession file? Assuming you are using bash then here is one. #!/bin/bash --login exec enlightenment # or fvwm2 or startkde or whatever Don't forget to make it executable. chmod a+x ~/.xsession Bob
