Very sorry... just tired, I imagine. I should have known much better than that. In any event, the problem is solved. The first three chars from #!/bin/sh in my firewall script were lost. Don't know why, but probably from an edit I made to the script yesterday. It's working fine now. Nonetheless, thank you for replying!
