Yahoo has less than zero credibility when it comes to spam.
1. They host spammer web sites.
2. They host spammer dropboxes.
3. They host spammer mailing lists.
4. They allow spammers to abuse their other hosted mailing lists.
5. They absolutely refuse to lift a finger to do anything about
any of this.

and search for "Yahoo clueless". Just that query alone, in just that
one newsgroup, will return more evidence substantiating points 1-5 than
you could possibly want to read.
Bottom line: Yahoo is major contributor to the spam problem.
So until they clean up their OWN operation, nobody should take anything
else they say or do WRT spam seriously.
