are you testing it from outside the firewall? my experience, many things with port forwarding fail to look like they "work" if your trying to connect from the system doing the forwarding or from a system that is doing NAT for a machine doing the forwarding. try connecting to the service from outside the firewall(perhaps another mahcine on the same subnet as the firewall) to see what happens. or ask someone you know to telnet to the port and see what response they get. nate -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
