It's people like you that inspired me to write an autoresponder. You miss the bleeding obvious. Your message to unsubscribe was sent to the wrong email address and likely no action was taken. Please take a moment to read the instructions on the header and footer of every message sent to the Debian User mailing list, reproduced here: (header) List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:debian-user-request@;lists.debian.org?subject=unsubscribe> (footer) To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] Both work. If one doesn't work for you, try the other. Don't panic. Getting rude, setting up autoresponders, or otherwise making a pest of yourself won't get you anywhere other than people's filters and you'll only annoy the people trying to help. In short, you'll dramatically reduce the number of people that would have been otherwise willing to try and help. If you are having difficulty unsubscribing, you may want to try Debian's handy web interface for subscription management. This is available at http://lists.debian.org/ Failing that, contact the listmaster[1] and be patient, or explain (politely! [1]) on list what your situation is. This is an automated response, Baloo has not seen your message, and no action has likely been taken to get you off the list. [1] A good subject would be along the lines of "difficulty unsubscribing from debian-user" or "...debian-user-digest," explain what you have tried, post the headers from your most recently recieved message (as this might help us narrow down the difficulty). Give as much detail as you can. -- Baloo
