I read some how-to's about installing het Alcatel speed touch USB modem. It seems 'difficult' (time consuming I mean). Is there not an 'easy' (fast way I mean)? Because once I did installed the modem (a year ago?) under Mandrake 8.0 much quicker than it looks now according to the How-to's.
