what i would do: update-rc.d -f kdm remove update-rc.d -f gdm remove update-rc.d -f xdm remove that will remove all the symlinks for the display managers so none will try to load on boot see the manpage on update-rc.d to see how to restore them to normal if you want to nate -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
