X4.1 does not support the 7500 at all, you need 4.2. The gatos drivers
for 4.2 are superior to those included with X, esp if you need to do any
Xv.

Just out of curiosity, do they plan to merge this code into the Xfree tree? Is there any reason why one has to go looking for this on another website to get Xv working?
