I'm sure it's overkill but I use minicom for logging, fire it up in screen, turn on the buffer logging and detach .. never tried doing exactly what your trying though, if it were me I would just use 2 serial cables going between the 2 systems nate -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
