In order to determine this I would run tcpdump on the firewall machine and then mount the AFS filesystem upon your firewall, since you say it works there. The tcpdump trace will show you all of the network activity that is happening at that time. You should be able to determine if this can be NAT'd or not based upon that information. It might be that you will need to manually create static NAT table entries. Or it might not be possible at all if the protocol requires unpleasant inbound connections. Bob
