tried it. works - somewhat!

1. save setup doenst help! it starts in the same old two pane formar!

2. in left pane,i have 2 click a directory to make it appear in right pane!!

wish it were 'automatic'!

last - come on - a console application in an xterm is not an X 
application! (i know linux this much)
