I always suspected as much...but what does this mean? I have downloaded and installed the partimage package, and this is the first screen to greet me: Missing Inode...shall it create?
I am running Debian Woody with Ext3 fs. This is the downloaded package not the one that comes with stable. I have done a Google search and looked through my books and I have a vague idea what an inode relates to, but would like to know precisely...and also is it safe to let Partition Image go ahead and create these?
