Hey there my proftpd setup just broke all the sudden today (or maybe
yesterday) in
debian unstable. It seemed to be working fine.. and i went to login today, and it says
there's no user.. i check the log, and it says "no such user as 'username'" i really
dunno
what's up, i checked my /etc/passwd and the user IS there, i even logged in regularly
as the
user, but i can't login via ftp.. i was hanging around in #debian on OPN, and someone
else
said they had the same problem, Is this happening to alot of people? how can i fix it,
any
clues? I havn't changed my proftpd config in like 1/2 a year, and i checked it over,
it
looks fine...It's got me confused.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks,
