Hi. I was thinking about learning JSP so I started setting up Tomcat4 and Apache 1.3.x
Everything went fine, I could connect to tomcat via port 8081 (or what is was). However, I failed upon remove Tomcat's HTTP-connector and use Apache as connector instead. So my questions are; Is the "libapache-mod-jk" correct one for Apache 1.3 or should I use "libapache-mod-webapp" instead? What directives must I add to httpd.conf to get the above connector to talk to Tomcat4? Is it correct to remove the whole "<Service name="Tomcat-Standalone>"-section in order to prevent the standalone Tomcat from starting? Does anyone have examples of directives in httpd.conf to serve JSP-pages and servlets from "/var/www/servlet" and "^/home/.*/public_html/servlet"? Thanks in advance for any hint, www-link or even complete answer. .judd _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
