I am also using a Logitech USB mouse and it works great. I am using a recompiled kernel 2.2.20. My kernel options were set to: CONFIG_USB=y CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS=y CONFIG_HOTPLUG=y CONFIG_USB_BANDWIDTH=y CONFIG_USB_HID=m CONFIG_USB_KBD=m CONFIG_USB_MOUSE=m CONFIG_INPUT_KEYBDEV=m CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSEDEV=m CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSEDEV_SCREEN_X=1024 CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSEDEV_SCREEN_Y=768 CONFIG_INPUT_JOYDEV=m CONFIG_USB_WMFORCE=m CONFIG_USB_WACOM=m CONFIG_INPUT_EVDEV=m With modconf I loaded these modules: mousedev input uhci With dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 I configured my mouse in /etc/X11/XF86Config like this: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Configured Mouse" Driver "mouse" Option "CorePointer" Option "Device" "/dev/psaux" Option "Protocol" "ImPS/2" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Generic Mouse" Driver "mouse" Option "SendCoreEvents" "true" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "Protocol" "ImPS/2" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection After rebooting your mouse should be recognized. I hope this helps. Oliver -- ... don't touch the bang-bang fruit -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
