I found it's best to re-untar the source when you get weired errors. I just did a rebuild like in /usr/share/doc/kernel-package/README.gz Do as root: cd /usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.19 make menuconfig ( you can copy your old .config here ) make-kpkg clean make-kpkg --initrd --revision=custom.220902 kernel_image (assumes initrd used at boot) dpkg -i ../kernel-image-2.4.19-custom.220902_i386.deb shutdown -r now (reboot) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
