Hi there! I have Debian Woody with postfix. Some days ago I installed Mailman 2.0.11 but I couldn't make it work. It doesn't send a single mail but keeps them at /mailman/qfiles with locks at /mailman/locks.
I've tried many solutions (I even contacted the maintaner of the packet who recommended me to change some rights) but it keeps on non working. If I create any new list and the system sends a notification msg to the owner that mail doesn't go out. Same happens with mails sent to any mailing list: mail reaches the system but Mailman doesn't forward it to the members of the list. Instead, it creates the locks I told about some lines above. At the beginning I thought it was because of the firewall so I removed it, but system keeps on failing. Since my machine is not extremely powerful I told Mailman not to archive the mails but nothing happens, my mails are still locked (Mailman's mails only, normal mails pass through whithout problem, I can send and recive "normal" mails). There's nothing in the queue and those locked mails have nothing special, I mean, they are just test mails, there are no previous mails which might stop older ones. Did anyone experience this problem? Here I include /mailman/logs/post, it may helps: ---CUT--- Sep 18 18:09:16 2002 (337) All recipients refused: (110, 'Connection timed out') Sep 18 18:09:16 2002 (337) smtp for 1 recips, completed in 189.610 seconds Sep 18 18:13:12 2002 (359) All recipients refused: (110, 'Connection timed out') Sep 18 18:13:12 2002 (359) smtp for 1 recips, completed in 189.498 seconds Sep 18 19:53:26 2002 (652) All recipients refused: (110, 'Connection timed out') Sep 18 19:53:26 2002 (652) smtp for 1 recips, completed in 189.030 seconds Sep 18 19:59:16 2002 (330) All recipients refused: (110, 'Connection timed out') Sep 18 19:59:16 2002 (330) smtp for 1 recips, completed in 189.670 seconds Sep 18 20:03:12 2002 (367) All recipients refused: (110, 'Connection timed out') Sep 18 20:03:12 2002 (367) smtp for 1 recips, completed in 189.677 seconds ---CUT--- Postfix doesn't show any problem in its log files, it just says that it posted my mail to the test list... Could someone please help me :-) Thanks a lot! Kisses, Maria G Suarez. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
