yeah you'll have to specifically tell the kernel what modules to use when you want to use them with the autoloader disabled. it puts the kernel in dumb mode(which i prefer, since like you I got annoyed by those messages, moreso by the ones that used to flood my logs when I used dialup/PPP) nate -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
