What about the following: gs -r300x300 -dNOCACHE -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dBATCH -sOutputFile=test3.pdf test1.ps test2.ps You can change the -sDevice to pswrite if you want ps output.
