Hello everybody, for a project at work i try to run debian s390x (actual release) on hercules 3.07. This is no problem at all but i need a 3270 terminal session (i need to check some stuff using DCOM with the HOB-Link terminal emulator).
With the command #chccwdev -e 0.0.001f (the terminal runs at adress 001F) i get a connection to the terminal (the screen is switching from hercules welcome screen to white) but i do not get a login prompt (the modules for the kernel fs3270.ko is running, the rest is build in). What do i need to get a login prompt for a shell login from the terminal emulator (i already entered 'T0:23:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty0.0.001f' in the /etc/initab, also i tried agetty and mingetty)? Is there a posibility to run #chccwdev -e 0.0.001f at system boot (i already tested a script in rcS.d)?
