Hi Philipp,

I return to our problem with the installation of a Debian/Lenny  version on our 
mainframe
( a a Multiprise Series 3000 Model H30, 32 bits running z/VM V4.2.0). You can 
see below the
different steps of a new attempt which remains unsuccessful.

Could you help ?

1. I got the for files from:
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/lenny/main/installer-s390/current/images/

(the files with their size:
2788877 24 nov 22:06 initrd.debian

2. The the files after they have been reblocked:

3. We added some parameters to the parmfile.debian in order to have some debug
