I do not use anything unusual. Primarily POP3 accounts (external providers) and a local mailbox. I also use an embedded MariaDB as backend and X11 (without Wayland). The file system is Btrfs and the user directory is encrypted. The setup exists since 2003 and has survived all upgrades. I hope that a permanent solution can be found.
