whole. The KDE project tries to make an extensive list of people who
contributed

This URL now unfortunately points to http://www.behindkde.org/
Behind KDE is more meant to have in-depth coverage of main KDE
contributors, it could take a few decades for it to become as exhaustive
as this link is supposed to be. I found a partial translation to
[pseudo-]French of what the page used to be:

I failed to find the English version, even asking on #kde.
