Package: kmix Version: 4:16.08.0-1+b1 Followup-For: Bug #869766 Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? Playing sound from the analogue input of my Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS, identified in alsamixer as: Card: SB Audigy 2 ZS [SB0350] Chip: SigmaTel STAC9750,51 * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I observed the levels shown on alsamixer and the source labelled as PCM spontaneously jumped to 100. This only happens under plasma desktop, and I suspect that something in KDE is changing the sound level. * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.13.0-rc3+ (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages kmix depends on: ii kde-runtime 4:16.08.3-2 ii libasound2 1.1.3-5 ii libc6 2.24-14 ii libcanberra0 0.30-3 ii libkdecore5 4:4.14.26-2 ii libkdeui5 4:4.14.26-2 ii libplasma3 4:4.14.26-2 ii libpulse-mainloop-glib0 10.0-1.0nosystemd1 ii libpulse0 10.0-1.0nosystemd1 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.8.7+dfsg-11 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.8.7+dfsg-11 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.7+dfsg-11 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.7+dfsg-11 ii libsolid4 4:4.14.26-2 ii libstdc++6 7.1.0-12 kmix recommends no packages. kmix suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
