Dear Maintainer,
With the xfce desktop, the «Save as..» form don't show the directories.
I am ask to upstreams from this issue and it turns out that installing
the kio package solves the problem.
Consider to add kio package to kolourpaint dependencies.
Regards!
I. De Marchi
P.S. Sorry for the previus message: it was a mistake!

This issue is already fixed in unstable, and it should be fixed in
stretch soonish (blocked by binutils).
The kio lib packages were recently modified to inject the kio
dependency on packages that link against the kio libs. In this case
the kio dependency is being injected in the libkf5kdelibs4support5
package, but this is currently only in the packages in unstable. This
issue will be fixed when the libkf5kdelibs4support5 packages migrate
to stretch.
libkf5kdelibs4support5 5.28.0-1 is already in stretch, so I'm closing this
issue.
Happy hacking,
