when I am working with books I often need to have the same book open in two different windows to look at the end notes in the second window. Here often occurs a dataloss of annotations: If I made annotations in the endnotes and in the main text, after closing both windows, one of the annotations is lost. It is not possible to get them back, as only the annotations of one of the windows is saved. If I work only in one window and use the second just for reading, the data is also lost, when accidentally closing the main text window with the annotations first. Saving as an *.okular archive has other negative sideeffects in my working scheme, so thats not an option unluckily.
