I guess your plasmashell is crashing, sadly this isn't enough to track the issue. Could you share the ~/.xsession-errors of yout empty user, it might provide some useful information.
Let's try something simpler, using klauncher (the default shortcut is Alt+Space, it's the Run Command global shortcut) you should be able to launch konsole. From there:
ps faux | tee /tmp/output.log killall plasmashell plasmashell | tee -a /tmp/output.logThis might bring your plasmashell back to life. And we will be interested on the contents of the /tmp/output.log file. After running this commands, could you send that file as an attachment to this bug report?
