Hi,

I'll install another desktop, by don't see how that can help, since I already tried with process plasmashell stopped, and it doesn't reproduce:

"I believe this is rather and interaction between KWin and Plasmashell.
If I stopped the Plasmashell process, the freeze doesn't happen anymore
(those notifications are drawn at the top of the screen in small
windows). A further argument for this idea is that after the freeze the
screen goes one "frame" back, and that the music and cursor are not
affected."

Thank you, Alex

Unfortunately this still happens. It does seem to be less often, and I've upgraded only knotifications related packages to test it properly.
Sorry, as I mentioned, I'm not being able to reproduce this. I'm tagging the bug help needed and unreproducible, as a way to flag the current status for possible triagers checking on this issue. The pending piece of input that is missing is if this bug is reproducible in a different desktop enviroment (that would be, "is this an issue specific to the lower level bluetooth communication?") I'm assuming it isn't as you mentioned that the knotifications upgrade partially mitigates the issue, but it might be better to double check. Afterwards, could you report this bug upstream (through https://bugs.kde.org/)? (Right now, I think that the bug upstream should be assigned to knotifications, but I'm not sure) If you do so, please send the bug url link to this bug. Happy hacking,
