Indeed I missread you, sorry for that. yes, it shouldn't be run by default except the user or the desktop upstreams decide so. Jonathan: please take a look at the bug. I think Michael is right here, users should be able to use Klipper on non-plasma desktops but it shouldn't happen by default.
