It works fine here, the responsible for showing the Password: prompt is pam, do 
you have any particular pam setup?

Also, creating a new konsole profile ended up in ~/.local/share/konsole/ this 
shouldn't be a reason for this behavior, but it might be worth checking if you 
can reproduce the issue with a new user.
