Package: kmail Version: 4:16.04.1-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
I, and others, have had a failed attempt at upgrading to KMail 16.04 which resulted in a situation where none of the mail accounts/folder were shown and 'something' was busy all the time, but you had no clue what it was. Then Andreas Bourges on the debian-kde ML had the bright idea to also upgrade akonadi-server and when I did that (and rebooted) I got a clear indication that a conversion was busy and after that I was greeted with an awesome KMail (WAY faster then before). So it looks like kmail needs a versioned dependency on akonadi-server. Severity grave as it made kmail/kontact unusable and could only get it back to a working state by downgrading it to the unstable version (which is an unsupported procedure/action).
