So it may help to disable plugins until you find out which one it is. Also I had a similar issue a week ago and it turned out to the a broken baloo database. I had "mdb.c" in backtrace. I think there should be debug symbols available for it, have you tried libkf5runner5-dbg + plasma-workspace-dbg (dpkg -S $(which krunner) returns plasma-workspace)? In that case it helped me to delete the baloo database in ~/.local/share/baloo/file set first run to true in .config/baloofilerc (or remove it may also work) and stop and restart baloo with balooctl, take no baloo processes are running before restarting it. Also please share the versions of plasma-workspace and libkf5runner5 packages you have. Thanks, -- Martin
