Dear Maintainer,
I imported my whole icedove profile (~6GB) using the KMail Import Assistant (I
had to make a symlink named ".thunderbird" for it to recognise icedove...).
Then I tried to get used to Kmail working on the identities etc. / trying to
make a state similar to the original in Icedove. I created several Subfolders
under LocalFolder one of them called "XArchiv". I tried to move the whole
content of the thunderbird-import-folder to that new folder. I got an error
message and the move-operation failed: "Unable to retrieve item from resource:
Ungültigen Eintrag erhalten". I tried it again with the same result.
I gave up and used Icedove again. Later I tried to open KMail again and it
failed with the error message: "Im E-Mail-Programm ist ein schwerwiegender
Fehler aufgetreten. Das Programm wird beendet. Die Fehlermeldung lautet:
Zeitüberschreitung beim Erhalten der Sperre." (In the email program was a
serious error. The program is being quitted. The error message is: Overstepping
time while keeping the lock. -> Sorry for the rough translation, but I don't
even understand it in German...). I tried to open it again with the same
result.
I shutted down my computer and when I started it again I was able to open
KMail, but the whole thunderbird-import-folder with ~6GB emails was deleted
without being copied. Funny thing is that even the new created empty folders
are gone.
Addendum: I just realized that it created another mail-directory called
~/.local/share/local-mail.directory. in ~/.local/share/local-mail the empty
folders without the thunderbird import folder are around. I don't know if the
mails are inside, as the folders seem to be empty.
Below is the Akonadi selftest report, it seems to cover several error messages
I don't understand.
