Hi Holger! While I do understand your situation, this seems like a fix at the wrong level. If I split the plugins I need to create a package just for ~468K on amd64. Plus I would really need to make libqt5network5 recommend such plugin, so normal installations would install it by default. And then if some other app needs them you will end up with the same problem. So no real fix here. The best you can do here is ask upstream to implement a method to disable plugins at runtime. This will not be in 5.3, but I might be able to backport it.
