Package: kmix Version: 4:4.12.2-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
Roughly 9 out of 10 computer boots KDE does not load up completely: Kmix and Klipper does not show up in tray, I can't end session or reboot/shutdown computer through KDE menu (though "Ctrl+Alt+Backspace", "systemctl reboot" etc. works), my keyboard backlight does not work (but screen backlight works), and the main menu takes 5-10 seconds to show up after I click on the button. If I hit Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, then the X server restarts, I log into KDE again and everything is good. Rarely all components are loaded as it should be straight after the boot. Looks like a race condition occurs somewhere during the KDE load, I don't know. I found a possibly related bug here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323340 I disabled KmixD, I don't use Kwallet, I have no Pulseaudio installed (though libpulse0 was installed as a dependency and I also get the annoying ".pulse" directory in my home directory all the time). But still, the problem remains. Thanks in advance! P.S. Excuse me, please, if I filed a bug against a wrong package. In the linked discussion maintainers suggested that it's probably a Kmix's problem, so I filed a bug against kmix package. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages kmix depends on: ii kde-runtime 4:4.12.4-1 ii libasound2 1.0.27.2-3 ii libc6 2.18-5 ii libcanberra0 0.30-2 ii libkdecore5 4:4.12.4-1 ii libkdeui5 4:4.12.4-1 ii libplasma3 4:4.12.4-1 ii libpulse-mainloop-glib0 5.0-2 ii libpulse0 5.0-2 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.8.6+dfsg-1 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.8.6+dfsg-1 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.6+dfsg-1 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.6+dfsg-1 ii libsolid4 4:4.12.4-1 ii libstdc++6 4.9.0-2 kmix recommends no packages. kmix suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
