Package: okular
Version: 4:4.11.3-1+b1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
okular is built with libpoppler 0.18.4, as verified with ldd.
This makes saving annotations in PDFs impossible, even though it is implemented
in this version of okular.
There is a packaged version od lipoppler 0.22.5-3, where this would most
probably work.
Even better would be a packaged libpoppler 0.24 or 0.25 but that is not the
point of this bug report
and I would be happy with 0.22.5

Okular is built with whatever version of poppler is currently available
in unstable at upload time. So far it means 0.18.x, while 0.22.x is in
experimental (which does not matter regarding unstable).
This makes this bug pointless, since okular doesn't get to decide which
poppler to use; hence I'm closing it.
Anyway, poppler 0.22.5 has been just uploaded to unstable, and as part
of this packages using libpoppler-qt4, including okular, will be soon
rebuilt against the library/ies with the new SONAME(s).
Thanks for your report,
