Package: kalgebra Version: 4:4.8.4-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I am experiencing very strange and incorrect simplifications of symbolic expressions which I enter in KAlgebra. For example, if I enter the expession "2-(x+2-2*x)", I would expect the expression to be simplified to "x". Instead, this is what happens: If I enter the above expression into the console, it is changed to "2-(x+2)-2*x" and the result is printed as "-x" (Which neither fits the original formula nor the modified one). If I enter the expression in the 2D Graph tab, the plot shows the graph of f(x) = -x -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_AT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_AT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages kalgebra depends on: ii kalgebra-common 4:4.8.4-1 ii kde-runtime 4:4.8.4-2 ii libanalitza4abi1 4:4.8.4-2 ii libanalitzagui4 4:4.8.4-2 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 8.0.5-4+deb7u2 ii libglu1-mesa [libglu1] 8.0.5-4+deb7u2 ii libkdecore5 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkdeui5 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkhtml5 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkio5 4:4.8.4-4 ii libkparts4 4:4.8.4-4 ii libqt4-opengl 4:4.8.2+dfsg-11 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.8.2+dfsg-11 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.2+dfsg-11 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.2+dfsg-11 ii libstdc++6 4.7.2-5 kalgebra recommends no packages. kalgebra suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
