Hi Roland! There are actually two bugs here, so I'm cloning this bug. With respect to jquery I have just (hopefully) fixed that, even if later disabling the search box will make it useless. At least it will be there for completeness. With respect to the search box, it would be *wonderful* if you report that upstream in https://bugreports.qt-project.org/ Having an upstream fix would be ideal, and you seem to understand the problem better than I.
