Hello. I'm also affected by this. On my machine with a relatively new Wheezy install, Dolphin may sometimes decide to load instantly on a fresh boot, but soon after it will take roughly two minutes to load. Machine is an Ivy Bridge and a standard hard drive. No other OS or NTFS partitions are present. My loopback interface is up.
It seems not only Dolphin is affected by this and that something else may be the cause of it. Kwrite, Krita, Okular, K3B and Gwenview are also taking roughly two minutes to load as well as the Logout/Shutdown confirmation popup from the classic KDE menu. "Desktop search" settings in the settings manager also takes two minutes to show. Dolphin's process shows up in the system monitor upon launch using a static 4484K memory, then increasing to roughly double once its window appears and changes dynamically on usage. Both Dolphin and Kwrite do not spit out anything when launched from the konsole. K3B stalls for two minutes at the "Creating GUI" stage of the splash screen.
