Hello,

By default it seems Akonadi server is configured to use mysql. However, by
default, it installs the SQLITE backend instead of MySQL. In order to get
Akonadi working which is required for KMAIL to work, you need to manually
edit config files to change the configuration of Akonadi from mysql to
SQLITE.

Please see this bug: 580706 (
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=580706).. If this bug
applies to you, I think this bug report should be reassigned and merged
into the akonadi-server. Also, leave a note under the akonadi-server bug
to let people know you're having this problem too.

Cheers.
