Package: kgpg Version: 4:4.8.4-3 --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I have found the solution for this Bug. The Problem ist that the default config path setting for Kgpg in <~/.kde/share/config/kgpgrc> is out of date.
The new KGpg version is the first one to actually force GnuPG to use that config file, while older versions only passed the directory to GnuPG, so silently ignoring the wrong configuration.
