Package: kmail Version: 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I use kmail with a POP account on several computers. I set it up so that it sends me bcc copies of messages I send; when such a copy is received, it is moved to the "Sent" folder, but when it arrives to the computer where it originated, it is moved to trash (this way I synchronize my Sent folders). To give myself a measure of monitoring on this trashing of messages, I added an action that plays a sound when this filter shoots. This way, if I hear the sound without having sent a message in the few minutes before, I can fix the problem. But recently, I've had problems with this. Changes in KDE removed the sound file I was using, and in response, KMail hung whenever it received a mail sent from the same computer (so, within 2 minutes of sending mail). Choosing an existing sound file fixed that. Today, the other sound file became problematic (it doesn't play in the filter-configuration dialog), and as a result KMail crashed. (the problem file was /usr/share/sounds/KDE-Window-Close.ogg) Thanks for keeping a workable KMail alive, Shai -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages kmail depends on: ii kde-runtime 4:4.8.4-1 ii kdepim-runtime 4:4.4.11.1-4 ii kdepimlibs-kio-plugins 4:4.8.4-1 ii libakonadi-contact4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libakonadi-kde4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libc6 2.13-33 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.0-8 ii libgpgme++2 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkabc4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkcal4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkcmutils4 4:4.8.3-2 ii libkde3support4 4:4.8.3-2 ii libkdecore5 4:4.8.3-2 ii libkdepim4 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 ii libkdeui5 4:4.8.3-2 ii libkhtml5 4:4.8.3-2 ii libkimap4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkio5 4:4.8.3-2 ii libkldap4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkleo4 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 ii libkmime4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libknotifyconfig4 4:4.8.3-2 ii libkontactinterface4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkparts4 4:4.8.3-2 ii libkpgp4 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 ii libkpimidentities4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkpimtextedit4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkpimutils4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkresources4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libksieve4 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 ii libktnef4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libmailtransport4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libmessagecore4 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 ii libmessagelist4 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 ii libmimelib4 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 ii libnepomuk4 4:4.8.3-2 ii libphonon4 4:4.6.0.0-2 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqt4-network 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqt4-qt3support 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.2-1 ii libstdc++6 4.7.0-8 ii libthreadweaver4 4:4.8.3-2 ii perl 5.14.2-12 ii phonon 4:4.6.0.0-2 Versions of packages kmail recommends: ii gnupg-agent 2.0.19-1 ii gnupg2 2.0.19-1 ii pinentry-gtk2 [pinentry-x11] 0.8.1-1 Versions of packages kmail suggests: pn clamav | f-prot-installer <none> ii kaddressbook 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3 pn kleopatra <none> ii procmail 3.22-20 ii spambayes 1.1a6-1 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
