I'm glad to see that the bug has been closed. However, the method leaves me completely dissatisfied.
I've been using Amarok for about 10 years now. All my CDs, all the music people have made available for free download: 5000+ tracks, sorted, labelled, starred. Quality is very variable, so the equaliser is a must. Now this update is forcing me to switch away from Amarok as the primary music player (lack of equaliser). Have to redo all my sorting, classification and starring of tracks, another 10 years (if I survive that long) of work on a new media player. Sucks. Fscking over long-time users by making it impossible to use the software without any notice is NOT a good policy for package maintenance. -- Raj -- Raj Mathur || r...@kandalaya.org || GPG: http://otheronepercent.blogspot.com || http://kandalaya.org || CC68 It is the mind that moves || http://schizoid.in || D17F -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
