Package: akonadi-server Version: 1.6.2-1 Severity: critical Upgrading to the experimental version of Akonadi makes Kmail unable to read new messages coming to an IMAP mailbox.
The new messages appear in Kmail GUI, then a message such as the following one is displayed: "Error while uploading message Could not upload the message dated Today 22:59:38 from Nicolas DEGAND <nico...@degand.net> with subject "test 4" to the server. The destination folder was: Degand/inbox. The server reported: Error in IMAP command received by server." with a choice between "Continue" or "Cancel" Then they are silently deleted from the mailbox. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.1.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages akonadi-server depends on: ii akonadi-backend-mysql 1.6.2-1 ii libakonadiprotocolinternals1 1.6.2-1 ii libboost-program-options1.46.1 1.46.1-7+b1 ii libc6 2.13-21 ii libgcc1 1:4.6.2-6 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.7.3-8 ii libqt4-network 4:4.7.3-8 ii libqt4-sql 4:4.7.3-8 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.7.3-8 ii libqtcore4 4:4.7.3-8 ii libqtgui4 4:4.7.3-8 ii libsoprano4 2.7.3+dfsg.1-1 ii libstdc++6 4.6.2-6 akonadi-server recommends no packages.
