Package: akonadi-backend-mysql Version: 1.5.1-1 Followup-For: Bug #564514 I had completely misunderstood the purpose of the virtuoso server and mysql. I have now installed mysql-server-5.1 to have access to mysql_install_db, which allowed me to fix the problem as described in the earlier reply here.
