The screen turns completely black apart from the visible mouse cursor, which still changes appearance depending on the (now invisible) background window. This happens every time I wake up the laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad T410s) after it went into hibernation due to low battery power. As soon as I unplug the power supply the full desktop becomes visible again, but of course this only triggers a new hibernation as soon as the battery runs low again.
