Package: okular
Version: 4:4.4.5-2
Severity: normal
When trying to open an .epub file, I get the following message:
$ okular live-manual.it.epub
okular(2773)/kdecore (KConfigSkeleton) KCoreConfigSkeleton::writeConfig:
okular(2773)/kdecore (KConfigSkeleton) KCoreConfigSkeleton::writeConfig:
okular(2773)/kdecore (services) KMimeTypeFactory::parseMagic: Now
parsing "/usr/share/mime/magic"
okular(2773)/kdecore (services) KMimeTypeFactory::parseMagic: Now
parsing "/home/carlo/.local/share/mime/magic"
okular(2773)/okular (app) Okular::Document::openDocument: No plugin for
mimetype '"application/zip"'.
That problem seems similar to this one:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=643833
You can find the mentioned file into the live-manual package.
Happy new year!
Carlo

No, the problem is totally unrelated to the RH bug, but...

... this is the real problem: you don't have the epub plugin (provided
by okular-extra-backends) installed. Install it, and you will be able to
open .epub documents.
