Since a while ago, powerdevil has not been able to do anything useful. It keeps sending notices about unplugged AC etc, but it no longer changes power profiles, locks screen, suspends, hibernates etc. It also shows "<empty>" as "currentProfile" in plasma engine explorer. The battery plasmoid cannot change this to anything and neither can direct dbus calls.
