*** Please type your report below this line *** I installed kdevelop et al. and tried to create the SigCreate project as per http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/KDE3/Qt_Designer_and_KDevelop_3.0_for_Beginners Trying to build this project first runs automake et al., ending with running configure, which fails with the somewhat cryptic message configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check See `config.log' for more details. After discovering that this file resides in directory 'debug' I was able to determine that the problem was caused by g++ not being installed.
