Maybe it is possible to use the KAddressbook version of KDE 4.3 instead of the version from KDE 4.4 in Debian squeeze. Otherwise the next version of Debian stable will have a broken KDE PIM (as a broken KAddressbook also affects the use of e.g. KMail and KOrganizer) for th enext ~ 3 years.
Any chance to get a workaround or solution for this issue for Debian squeeze? I see this as severe problem for KDEPIM in squeeze.
